São Paulo - Our live in-studio guest on this program is singer-songwriter Fernando Chuí. Chuí talks about the recently released CD Nunca Vi Mandacaru and plays live acoustic versions of songs from it, including Drops, Não Me Amola, Funk Urbano and Estrela Morta, the latter in two versions – first as a samba canção, then as a milonga.

Chuí burst on the national scene in 2000 when he became a finalist in the Globo Television Network’s Festival of Brazilian Music with the song Tubaína (which he also plays on the program). A native of São Paulo, Chuí mixes into his songwriting Brazilian and global influences that include rock, samba, funk, blues, and xote.

The program was produced by Flávio Kranic.
