Sizenando Alves Silveira was born in the port town of Santos, São Paulo. He earned a B.A. in History from the University of Sao Paulo (USP). He boasts three decades of experience as an illustrator, cartoonist and caricaturist. He worked as an illustrator for TV Globo’s news department and for the book publishers Vertente and Brasiliense. He has worked for newspapers like O Pasquim, Folha de São Paulo, Jornal do Brasil and Diário do Grande ABC and contributed to magazines like Shalom and Problemas Brasileiros. He is the author of the children’s books "Cores e Nomes," "Um sonho bate asas" and "Sobre as ondas" and contributed illustrations to the book “Investing and Selling in Latin America.” His work has appeared in exhibitions in Brazil and abroad.
